About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growth team at MLAI Digital. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B business development, a strategic mindset for market expansion, and a passion for building meaningful client relationships. Preference will be given to candidates who have lived or worked in Canada and understand the North American market.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across global markets, especially North America
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure
Develop and implement growth strategies to expand the client base and revenue
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align solution offerings with client needs
Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and CRM updates
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition
Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and market expansion strategies
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently in a work from home or hybrid environment
Experience engaging with clients in North America, preferably Canada
Education:
PGDM / MBA or equivalent degree in Marketing (preferred)
Good to Have:
Experience selling AI-led, SaaS, or digital transformation solutions
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation platforms
